What was the highlight of Grand Hotel Alingsas
Great breakfast and location, birds can be loud in the morning
Great breakfast and location. I was put in the side house or "Little Grand Hotel", which had pretty small rooms with a nice view. The sauna is nice, and there is a gym that provides enough for a basic resistance workout.
The birds (magpies) were pretty loud in the morning, so bring some ear plugs. I booked lunch for 12 colleagues and was talked down to about not knowing what they all wanted to eat or if all would attend. They said they would like to know at least a day ahead of time, which I understand, but I was close to just canceling the lunch because I felt like booking a dozen people for lunch wasn't exactly appreciated.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location, very good rooms and super friendly staff, would definitely be back
Hotel is comfortable and quiet with modern clean rooms and very friendly staff. the temperature is controlled from the room itself, which I love and it has hard floors (also love). Bathroom is clean and modern and beds are very comfortable.
only minor things: Water pressure in the shower was quite low. would have liked a bigger towel for the shower Could do with yoghourt at breakfast, although choice was overall good.

Very good stay, we liked it à LOT.
Very good much to choose from. Waiters supervised it all the time.
Didn’t get the hotwater for tea to work properly.
